Provides access to more than 950 journals published in the U.S. and abroad. Also covers conference papers and proceedings, special reports from international agencies, non-governmental organizations, universities, associations and private corporations. Other materials selectively indexed include significant monographs, government studies and newsletters.

A yearly publication which reports progress in environmental, energy, health, and population problems of the world. Essays cover various topics and include statistics and bibliographies. Note: Earlier years available in stacks, back to 1984. The Worldwatch Institute also publishes Vital Signs, which traces positive and negative trends affecting quality of life (Ref. HC 79 .E5 B76).
