Baker's Biographical Dictionary of Musicians  

Biographical sketches are for most notable performers, composers, and patrons of music. Includes non-European musicians. To find music CDs or other recordings, limit your search results to material type "music & audio" or to location "Gelardin Center." Music CD's are kept in the Gelardin Center.

To find sheet music or scores, search by author in GEORGE. Lauinger Library is more likely to have books containing musical pieces rather than individual sheet music.

Classical Music Library

The audio selections are cross-referenced to a database of supplementary reference information. The database includes licensed multiple versions of some works to enable comparative listening.
