The SKQS is the single largest collection of literary works in the world, with 3,460 works and 36,000 volumes. Compiled by edict of China's Emperor Qianlong during the period from 1773-1782, its title can be translated as the Complete Library of Four Treasures (Classics, History, Literature and Biography).
