The second edition is now complete and the online version includes entries for the 3rd edition, which is not yet complete.
The first edition, now published as E.J. Brill&#039;s First Encyclopaedia of Islam, 1913-1936, is also useful; it was reprinted in 1987, thus that date in its call number.</description>
